OTC remedies for seasonal allergy sufferers? Has anything worked? I can't find anything and have really been struggling the past couple weeks! Help if you can! Thank you :)

Have not taken a Zyrtec or Claritin now since Aug. 2008. We're now in high corn pollen season.

Hi everyone,

WEGO Health is currently hosting a paid survey for members of the allergy community on behalf of one of our sponsors. You can read all the details here, or get started taking the survey at: http://bit.ly/allergysurvey.

This survey will only be open for a short time, so I hope you'll share your thoughts with us today!

I have enjoyed spending time in this vibrant community, and the members here are so active and focused on research. I wanted to let you know about Medpedia, which is a collaborative project to collect and elevate the world's best health and medical knowledge. As Community Managers for Medpedia (www.medpedia.com), we are reaching out to patients trying to make our site more friendly for patients and caregivers; as active members of this community, I thought you would have some unique insight. Would any of you be interested in having a quick phone call so I can pick your brain a bit?

Thank you!

Hi Everyone i found this information on the net the other day. I just want to share this with you.

All of us have heard of asthma and know that it is something to do with difficulty breathing, but unless you have experienced it first hand in yourself or with your child, you have no idea of the terror this condition can bestow. Asthma attacks can be very frightening and there is often panic.

Things that can cause an asthma attack, depending on the person, as different people are allergic to different things, include, but are not limited to:

-certain foods
-certain medicines
-air pollution
-smoke
-molds
-perfumes
-dust
-fumes
-additives and preservatives in certain foods such as wine, salad dressings, beer, dehydrated soups.
-hair spray, spray deodorants
-pollen
other things such as:
-emotional stress
-exercise
-temperature changes
-medications
-sinus and other infections

Hello everyone, I am happy to be a part of this community. I am an asthma patient, and i have been suffering with it from the past 2 years. It has taken a toll on me emotionally as well as physically. My family too is suffering because of my illness. I would really appreciate it if any body can help me with whatever information any body has on asthma. I too would share my knowledge about asthma with all of you.

Does anyone else on here suffer from a skin condition called dermagraphism?

In lieu of the Obamas adopting Bo the dog and all the excited talk about the First Dog/hypoallergenic pets (the internet is buzzing with hypoallergenic pet theories) I thought i would repost a discussion thread originally posted by Janeen to direct anyone who's interested in learning more about what others have said about pets and allergies. Feel free to add your own thoughts, knowledge, and ideas!
