HI, folks!
I was just introduced to this web site today, and joinjed this group.
I have the trifecta of sleep disorders- Insomnia, Restless Legs Syndrome, and Sleep Apnea. actually there are 4, because I have PLMD, too. (periodic leg movement disorder)
I also manage several online support groups, and support has got to be the main coping technique that we have. Another great coping technique is to do your research. The more you know, the less confusion about your particular disorder. Knowledge is power.
I am glad to be a member here, and look forward to sharing information
and support. Have a good night! I am having fun checking out this whole web site and learnig how it works.

"Food Inc." is an excellent documentary about where our food comes from (overcrowded, factory farms), and how its treated (antibiotics, pesticides, etc.)- I hope everyone watches it. Many diseases are on the rise and most people sit back and hope for a cure instead of rising up and demanding GM (genetically modified) foods to be labeled, pesticides be banned, and that companies come clean about what toxic chemicals (known carcinogens) are in their products.

Earlier I commented on a raw whole food that has had such incredible results. What I left out was that I neither have High cholesteral or blood pressure. What got me excited about this seed was that I slept throughout the night. Waking up every night for about 12 years was not a big deal. I was use to it, so it wasn't a problem. A friend of mine was taking this mila and he commented on how well he has been sleeping. That's when I realize the alarm clock has been waking me up and I have been so energized when I go to work. My wife, the professor, started researching this seed and learning about the Omega 3's. We and many of our friends have been so taken by this and what it has been doing for us. The movie, food matters, Food Inc. has really made us to understand why these diseases have been cropping up in the last 20 years.
I highly recommend anyone interested in theor health to watch these two movies. Food matters, I believe can be rented.

Wow Stephen, I see you've joined a lot of groups. Are you here for support or to promote a product/business?

Hello my name is Stephen and about a year ago my wife and I were in Orlando looking at condo.
We found ourselves hearing about a food that was donig all these great things. I work in the television arena and my wife is pofessor. We were intersted but our lives were busy in our professions. My wife really didn't listen about this food and I was only interested because it seem like a new company to be first in. To make a long story short- We both got involved when we heared about what this was doing for people. Because we did not want to look foolish, I came into this company and purchased 24 bags of this stuff called, Mila. I gave it to friends, co-workers and yes, even some strangers who were working in my house. I figured, no harm, no foul, right? Between 14 and 35 days, I had people calling me up wanting to know more about this product. I knew it brought down cholesteral and high blood presure, but what other things were happening were simply amazing. Skin rashes going away, Nails, hair strengthand going to the bathroom was big for women. One friend who was taking it strickly for his cholesteral problem for 3 months, was putting on his daughters cereal. She has ADHD and she would act up a little when she saw him put this on his cereal. His daughter started calming down at home and in school. He was amazed and later we found more parents having the same experience with this seed. This is not a supplement or drug, it's a raw whole food. The stories with pain management, sarcoid, Fibromyalgia, the list goes on. I had to take this to my work and to doctors I know. They were a little stand offish. However, when results started pouring in from their friends and relatives, what can you say? Please go to: http://www.mylifemax.net/category/wellness-forum/ and www.15minuteintro.com Watch the 2nd video. I am sending this message to other sites because of the variety of health issues this has helped. Hope this helps,
Stephen B. Reid, M.Ed.

Joining this group seemed a logical exercise since as a person with bipolar disorder(BPD), sleeping problems have faced me for half a century. My present medication regime has sorted out my sleeping problems, but others here may benefit from my experience in my occasional post in this group.-Ron in Tasmania

There's day I can sleep and other days I can't. I tryed meds but they don't help.So I try taking walks but I can only go so far. And if that don't work I stay up all night so I can sleep the next day. Wow that's fun. So I keep myself busy I watch my grandkids you might think that would help, Nope!! So what can you do? Any idea's let me know thanks

What's the best self-assessment for OSA? It seems extreme to say "I'm tired and I snore" since those are both normal issues...
