We have the Silver Alert in Maryland. In fact, it just went into effect today. I'm really excited about the whole idea.

Hi Katelyn! Welcome to WEGO Health - it's great to have you. It sounds like you have a lot to share with the community.

Since you post such great discussion questions on your blog - I think you might be interested in joining a few groups here - namely the Alzheimer's Group and Health Bloggers Group (but of course you can join as many as you like!). Once you're in a group you can start your own discussions, respond to others', and really just connect with other Health Activists like yourself. I'd love to hear your perspective on the proposed Health Care Form.

Actually I'm looking forward to hearing your perspective on Alz, dementia, and your experience with Lyme and fatigue. Feel free to add blog posts if you'd like (or link to your personal blog posts too). My mom is an RN has a few Lyme patients right now and my hometown has seen a lot of recent diagnoses. I think it's a really important health issue so I hope you'll share a bit about that too :)

See you around!
-Amanda

More about me (my health interests and reasons for joining WEGO Health)
I saw what Alzheimer's and senile dementia did to people first hand and am concerned about its future effect on family members who have lost loved ones to Alzheimer's.

I also have a big interest in Lyme Disease, which I've had twice. I still have a lot of pain and fatigue, although tests show that the disease is no longer active.
