People who have never tried the paraffin dips, have simply never tried them. Our women's health fairs offer them and there is always a long line. They make everybody feel good, even if you don't have pain. The added moisture to the hands is wonder...

I may be simplifying too much here, but I have a history with arthritis that often affects my hands and wrists (so I don't mean to minimize your pain in any way). Along with medications, I often dip my hands in paraffin wax. It feels so awesome an...

Swollen hands cause a house to rise up

Wow, I am amazed day after day how much work it is to fix up a house. I am even more amazed at the toll it takes on your body. You'd think that working on the house for 10 weeks now that my body would have gotten used to what we are doing, or to what I'm requiring them to do, but no, they refuse to learn, or, maybe accept it. I'm not sure what is going on with them, but they have taken all kinds of delight in swelling up and going numb as I'm sleeping. Not only on days that I've worked, but on d… Continue

Storming in my head

Why is it that my favorite season, has to be so plagued by migraines from the rain coming and going?

I'm doing better since I've started on the B2 (400 mg, once a day) and magnesium (360 mg, once a day) that my neurologist told me to take each day, but these storms feel like killers. I love, love, love rain and especially thunder storms, but as the years go on, it feels like they really don't like me. I'm hoping that when we get done with working on our house and the stress lessens, that it wil… Continue

Hi Koryn- It's great to see you again! How are you doing????

The holiday season can so rough on Migraineurs, I always worry when we get to this time of the year... hoping everyone is doing well and able to enjoy their families and friends. We want to make memories of love an laughter, not pain and ER visits. I'm just coming out of a bad spell myself. It's hard wanting to be doing the things I was able to do just a couple short months ago, then finding it's impossible. I push myself too hard.

How is the house coming?

I hope you'll keep in touch and let me know how you're doing. We've missed you here!!!

Emotional Risks: Aside from physical side effects, there are also a number of emotional and psychological consequences:
Low Self-Esteem
Depression
Social Anxieties
Social Isolation

Solutions: There's lots of benefits to Eating Healthier. Eating well balanced meals, like the ones included in the meal plans offered to members of GetYourLeanOn.com, significantly helps your body in these and many other ways:
Help you lose and control your weight
Increase your body's sensitivity to insulin
