Psalm 46 I must agree is a perfect reflection. Actually is was a song for the director of music which was David.
Psalm 46 has a theme that God is always there to help, providing refuge, security, and peace. God's power is complete and his ultimate...
I stopped my hobby of singing it started to affect the back of my head/neck,its a shame because I did it well. It took years to become perfected especially acapella singing. I am thinking of another one to pass the time away. Any ideas are appreci...

More about me (my health interests and reasons for joining WEGO Health)
Happily married for 29 years I have 3 grown girls and 3 grands opps! almost forgot I have 1 great-grand baby. Its hard to believe I am a gg mother. denial I suspect.
I have cervical dystonia with a tremor. This disorder has also brought about numerous other things that brought attention to my spine. I also have been newly dx with spinal spondylosis and spinal stenosis. I don't work any longer (disability), however I do sing in a barbershop quartet and chorus when I am able. I am afraid the dystonia is hampering that too as well. Oh well I guess that is life. One door may close, and another will open.

Thanks so much for connecting with me... I live in Brazil and my english is not so good. I have a difficult to typing because the desease. The writer's cramp developed and committed to others functions as typing. I don't get to use the mouse and type with my right hand.
Good Evening, Lene! Thanks so much for connecting with me on my first day and in becoming 'friends.' I don't much of anything about Dystonia, but now I will learn. And, perhaps in doing so be of service to someone along the way.
I look forward to getting to know you better and being of whatever support that I may be. Never hesitate, my new friend. Do stay in touch!
I have been Licensed in Acupuncture over 20 yrs.. I have found it to be inconsistent in treating Dystonia. However, I am academic and western trained. I have been to traditional Acupuncturists without any success.
Like everything in Dystonia, some treatments help some but not others. I have done Acup. on myself, a little uncomfortable, but at times I have noticed some decrease in pain and muscle spasm. Unfortunately for short periods of time. I seem to get better results when I needle myself.
You can give Acupuncture a try. It's safe. (as long as they know what they are doing) worse that can happen is that nothing happens. Again whomever you go to needs to be licensed and qualified.
This information is my personal opinion. I am pretty sure I am not licensed in your state.
Hi Lene - May be you can help answer why when you and others post , dont get an immediate reply. I wish I could be on the computer all day but cant be - just like now, am answering from work...am just bothered that so many of you feel lost and isolated...and feel like you arent being heard...?

Hi Eileene, Thanks for your comment on my pic. It was taken the night of my 40th class reunion. The first one I've attennded since graduating. What a blast I had. Probably a little boring for Tom but he found people to talk too. My best freind from childhood was there from Maine and we hhad fun talking about our childhood and whatever. She was also my Maid of Honor at our wedding 40 years ago. Oh my where does the time go? Love ya, Sheilla
