Women’s health encompasses numerous topics. This is the place to discuss everything from breast health and preconception/conception to birth control and menopause.
I recently worled for a large pharma company in medical education. I follow public policy in order to better educate myself and others. My main concern is the uninsured population and what is being done to help them.

- Welcome to WEGO Health Necie!I'm glad to see that you've found our community of Health Activists and hope that you feel at home in the WEGO Health Women's Health community. My name is Sarah and I am the current Community Leader here working hard to educate members and spread the good (and sometimes not-so-good) news in the Women's Health realm. My main interests lie in women's HIV and AIDS prevention education and so I am also the Community Leader for the WEGO Health HIV community. Lately in the Women's Health community, we've been talking about how to keep our makeup (and brushes) clean to prevent makeup contamination. Feel free to check out the rest of our WEGO Health groups and join those that your'e interested in; each group is always looking for new Health Activists to jump in and offer their opinions.While in college, I was an intern for a professor who had a passion for young women's parental health, as well. Researching and writing with her really opened my eyes to the many different aspects of teen pregnancy and parenthood that I hadn't thought of before. I commend you for being such an active Health Activist for women who oftentimes have very little voice. I see that you've already taken the What Type of Health Activist Are You quiz.
