Rajat, I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with this. I have heard of "cold" allergy. I live in Massachusetts and a poor child in my son's school has it. Can you imagine our snowy weather and a cold allergy? I've spoken with the mom-and I'm sure you…

We just got this "information" given to us over the weekend. The family members meant well. But I got a little snippy about it. I think I'll print out the Dr.'s post and carry it with and hand it family members in the future :)

Thanks for drawing my attention to this Ellen! My son has mild asperger's so I try to advocate for Autism along with food allergies when I can. In fact, there is a alarmingly large link between the two.

Food Allergy Treatments and What They Mean

There has been recent media attention regarding food allergy treatments and what has been touted as potential food allergy "cures". While the research being done does look promising; these treatments are still in the testing stages, will need FDA approval, will need to get insurance approval, and may not be appropriate for all allergy sufferers.

The following are two of the treatments that have made recent headlines:

Sublingual Immunotherapy: is when regularly increasing doses of an all… Continue

Hi Ruth

I really enjoyed your spotlight interview. It brought back for me the memories of coping with my own life threating allergy. Why memories? I found a cure for mine! Something that I was told repeatedly was not possible!

If I could explain...

At the age of 25 I suddenly developed a life threatening allergy.

After a decade of being extremely grateful for hospitals, medication, doctors and specialists for their assistance and support, I was still having the same life threatening attacks. It controlled my life.

I became so frustrated that I started my own search for a cure!

It took me 12 years of research into mind and body, all the while living with my ailment and my fears, before I finally started to understand the amazing power of how our mind controls the outcomes of our health.

My breakthrough came in the form of a number of powerful self realizations during what was to be the last of my allergy attacks.

I have just finished writing the book about this experience and how I cured myself. It is called "There is a Cure". The book also includes the Holistic Healing Process, called Health by Association, and enables the reader to resolve their own ailments.

The book is currently being reviewed by a leading U.S. publisher, however in the mean time I have an ebook version that I am starting to promote...Now there is a new challenge....How to start...Where to start... Then shortly after finding the WEGO network there was your spotlight on allergies!

I need to get my knowledge out there as I believe that it will assist many people. If it can happen for me, then it can happen for anyone. Others have used my techniques and had their own success!

I sent a similar post to Janeen in the hope that this would assist in getting the message out there that there is a cure.

I would love to hear from you.

Cheers

Hello Ruth. Welcome to WEGO Health - we're so glad that you're here!! Please let me know if there is anything I can help you find on the site. There is so much good information and so many great people to connect with here. I'm excited that you've joined us...

I read your spotlight with Janeen. It nearly brought me to tears remembering the struggle we had with our own son and his allergy experiences. The good news is that he did survive his childhood. :) There were so many times we feared that he wouldn't.

Thank you for joining WEGO Health. I can't wait to see some of the fabulous information I know you can help with here...

Do you have any current information about the connection between allergy and Migraine?

So glad to meet you....
