There are a few things that often are overlooked re: ADD treatment that are fairly easy. What kind of treatment have you been involved with so far?
Our family had great docs and a multi-modal approach utilizing everything from physicians to psychologists, to educators. Our whole family was involved. Both kids are adults and hanging in there. One has been able to learn to deal with his ADD well enough that medication isn't necessary, and finding B vitamin deficiencies and thyroid disorders was really vital in making all of us healthy enough that medicine is just a small part of therapy for the other.
