WEGO Health

Hey, WEGO Health friends. I'm hoping to harness the power of community to extend the reach of an item that I posted on my blog yesterday, Peanut Allergy Safe at Ballgames.

Essentially, the St. Louis Cardinals (my home team!) has stepped up to the plate to host a peanut safe section at an upcoming home game. After being approached by the local food allergy support group, the are prohibiting the sale of peanuts in Section 328 on June 21. They are cleaning it before the game to remove peanut dust and they are providing extra ushers and paramedics for the section.

It has received extensive local media coverage and some national media coverage. We are hoping that the public will support the gesture and more MLB teams will follow in their footsteps.

So can you vote for the article on Technorati, Digg, Propeller, Stumbled Upon or any other social media sites.

Thanks!
