Parenting Tips for New Moms

After gestating for the last 8 months, my partner, Suzanne and I are proud to introduce you to our baby (site, that is!)... My Mommy Manual! It's a site that addresses many of the challenges that we all encounter as new and expectant moms. In our incredibly mobile and fast-paced society, it is not uncommon for families and friends to be spread out over great distances. New parenthood is at many times joyful and at other times, isolating... especially if you find yourself far from your mom, sisters, and women friends. Our intention for the site is to create a "place" where moms can connect with their advice.

So I hope all of you amazingly passionate moms on WEGO will visit our mommy community and share your comments and tips with us. If you have a tip to share, please send me a DM. We are always looking for contributors!

Thanks for the comments, everyone! We are definitely trying to address the hot topics for new moms/parents. Along the same lines as health advocacy, it is really rewarding to feel like we are helping people.

Ria, the site looks fantastic! And I am SHOCKED that parents spend from $5 to $15K on nursery furniture. Granted, I don't have kids yet so I have no idea how much things cost, but whoa!
